Origins
This migraine ease roll-on begins its journey from where everything in Tribal Sangha begins — not in a laboratory, but on the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas, and deep in the mist-veiled forests of the Western Ghats.
For wild plants like eucalyptus and wintergreen, harvests are done once each season, whereas rosemary, lavender, and peppermint are harvested twice at our sangha farms, after each sowing, by the same hands of the community that tends them for months in the soil. Once the biomass of the plants is gathered, the fresh flower buds and dried leaves of each plant are steam-distilled using the traditional tribal method, which have been practiced for generations — no shortcuts like synthetic oils made in a lab, no toxic solvents added or mixed. It is just the unhurried, patient hours over the distillation still, until the essential oil drips drop by drop into the receiver — pure as it left the plant.
These five plants have eased headache and migraine in our sangha long before either had a common name for it: wintergreen relieves pain, rosemary boosts blood circulation, lavender calms the nerves, peppermint relaxes tight muscles, and eucalyptus lifts the throb from behind the eyes. We have carried that wisdom of our elders into this roll-on, so it can travel with you — held in a cold-pressed organic jojoba oil base that carries the oils into the skin without overwhelming it, and keeps them steady for up to three years in the bottle.
This is the origin story behind this 10 ml Migraine Ease Roll-On, laid out here in full, the same way we lay out everything else we make.
